Erasmios Greek-German School, school chess team

Latest sign of chess

A team of the school played in the primary-school and upper-secondary sections of the Attica school team chess championship (Ομαδικό Πρωτάθλημα Μαθητών – Μαθητριών Αττικής) that the Attica chess clubs’ union (ESSNA) runs, in two editions on the results server: the 21st, whose round 1 was played on 5 April 2025, and the 22nd, whose round 1 was played on 28 March 2026. The match is by the school’s name in the team name; its primary school and its lyceum each entered both editions (the gymnasium in 2025 only). The team is printed as «ΕΡΑΣΜΕΙΟΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΓΕΡΜΑΝΙΚΗ ΣΧ. ΔΗΜ. Α» in 2025 and «ΕΡΑΣΜΕΙΟΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΓΕΡΜΑΝΙΚΗ ΣΧΟΛΗ Α» in 2026; «ΕΡΑΣΜΕΙΟΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΓΕΡΜΑΝΙΚΗ ΣΧ. ΛΥΚΕΙΟ» in 2025 and «ΕΡΑΣΜΕΙΟΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΓΕΡΜΑΝΙΚΗ ΣΧΟΛΗ ΛΥΚΕΙΟ» in 2026. The results pages are the only chess trace; the school’s own site, opened for its address, says nothing about chess, so the entry stays unconfirmed. The championship is played at a host school, not here; the card records the school’s team, not a session open to visitors.
