Chess clubs with something on a Thursday 6

On Thursday the clubs of Athens teach. Ampelokipoi has children’s groups hour by hour through the late afternoon and takes enrolments in the same hours. Neoi Vyronos teaches children at three levels and adds its adult beginners’ group. Peristeri brings in a group of pupils who are past the beginner stage, and Panionios in Nea Smyrni has its academy group in the evening.

For play instead of lessons there are two addresses. ASOP Dias in Petroupoli repeats on Thursday afternoon the rapid and blitz events it holds on Wednesday, open to all. Kallithea lists its clubroom as open in the late afternoon, though the hours come from a profile with no date on it. Thursday evening is also when Kotinos plays its marathon of rapid and blitz in Kypseli, which has an entry of its own among the tournaments.
