Latest sign of chess

A visitor's blog post of September 2022 describes a new club named the Athens Chess Club, run by IM Nikos Kalesis; it is the only source found that names the club. The chess-results.com tournament listing shows open blitz events titled “by A.C.C.”, with Kalesis Nikolaos as organiser, at Kalamiotou 19-23 (4th floor) from 7 January to 18 May 2025. From 15 January 2025 events with the same abbreviation and organiser are also listed at Kritis 1 and Karpathou 8 in Petroupoli, the clubroom of the club ASOP Dias, the latest on 12 October 2026 under the title “by ASOP DIAS”. The link between “A.C.C.” and the Athens Chess Club rests only on the abbreviation and the organiser's name: no source states it, and no dated source after 2022 names the club.
